New Clay Studios is the ceramic facility I built and have run since 2002, located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. I lease out space to 12 people who create their own work here. I provide gas and electric kilns, a fully stocked separate, ventilated glaze chemistry workspace, slab rollers, extruder, and a ventilated spray booth for glaze application. We have a trough in the floor so we can regularly hose the space to minimize harmful dust. All equipment and machinery complies with City and State fire precautions.
